p.107 - Motion of John Pleasants to administer the estate of Elizabeth Hatcher, dec'd, It is ordered that Benjamin Hatcher, Henry Hatcher and Jeremiah Hatcher, to one of which the right of administration doth belong, be summoned to declare whether they will take said administration.

To daughter Anne Hatcher, 50 acres where she now lives and after decease of said Anne and her husband Jameston Hatcher, to my grandson Thomas Hatcher.
To daughter Obedience Knibb, all remainder of land where I now live, and items.
To wife Anne, 100 acres in Henrico at Sappony, the plantation where William Cutts now lives, being 1/2 of 200 acres taken up with Mr. Joseph Wilkinson.
To my grandson Jameston Hatcher, the other 100 acres, joining Benjamin Branch.
Rest to wife Anne and she to be executor.

p.303 - Will of John Burton of Dale Parish,br> To wife Elizabeth, personal estate for life, then to be divided between 2 sons and 4 daughters, vizt; Caleb Burton, Joseph Burton, Elizabeth, Sarah, Joannah, and Mary Burton.
To son Caleb, land at fork of Nisoms Branch, and another 50 acres on south side of same branch, joining James Farley and James Hill, the whole being 130 acres.
To son Joseph, the plantation where I now live.
If either son dies before age 21, their portion to my daughter Elizabeth Burton, and if she die, then to my son John Burton.
To son John, 1 shillling; to son Robert, 1 shilling; and to daughter Agnes Farmer, 1 shilling.
